Rush has officially expanded their 2026 “Fifty Something” tour by adding 11 additional shows across key cities, responding to what band management is calling “incredible demand.”
The newly added concerts include extra dates in Los Angeles (which will now host four shows), Chicago, New York City, Fort Worth, Toronto, and Cleveland. With these updates, the tour now comprises 23 shows in total.
Rush’s core — Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson — will return to the stage, joined by German drummer Anika Nilles, who takes up the baton following the passing of Neil Peart in 2020. Each concert is planned as a two-set affair, pulling from a rotating catalogue of about 35 tracks spanning their decades of output.
In announcing the expansion, Rush noted that Los Angeles — the same city and venue (Kia Forum / Forum) where they played their final 2015 concert — will now host multiple nights, effectively bookending their full-circle return.
Tickets will go on general sale Friday, October 17, with presales (including artist, Citi, Amex, etc.) in the days leading up.
With the extra dates, Rush aims not just to reunite but to celebrate a legacy, bringing their music back to as many fans as possible. In Lee’s words, taken from earlier statements: “It’s been over 10 years … we did some serious soul searching and come to the decision that we fucking miss it.”
This expansion confirms that Rush’s comeback is no small gesture — it’s an embrace of their history, their fans, and the music that has made them immortal.
