Buddy Guy — one of the most influential figures in blues and rock history — has unveiled his 2026 tour dates as he marks an incredible milestone: his 90th birthday this year. The Chicago blues icon will take his Buddy Guy 90 tour across North America (and beyond), celebrating a lifetime of music while still delivering electrifying performances on stage.
Earlier in 2026, Buddy Guy scored yet another career highlight by winning his ninth Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album for Ain’t Done With the Blues, underscoring his enduring influence on music decades after he first broke onto the scene.
Though he once hinted at slowing down with a farewell tour that began a few years ago, Guy has made it clear he’s not ready to hang up his guitar. As he told NPR earlier this year, he plans to continue performing “as long as my fingers can move a little bit” and give audiences the blues experience they deserve.
The summer tour kicks off on July 15, 2026, at Massey Hall in Toronto and currently runs through September 18, 2026, concluding in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tickets go on sale beginning Friday, February 13, 2026.

Internationally, Guy will kick off performances in Australia in April with shows including a stop at Byron Bay Bluesfest, one of the Southern Hemisphere’s premier music festivals where he’ll share the stage with stars like The Black Crowes and Earth, Wind & Fire.
At nearly 90, Buddy Guy remains an electrifying performer whose influence stretches from classic rock to modern blues and beyond. Fans can expect the soulful guitar work and emotional vocals that made him a legend — with setlists likely drawing from his deep catalog ranging from “Damn Right, I’ve Got the Blues” to more recent Grammy-winning material.
His residency earlier this year at Buddy Guy’s Legends club in Chicago showed that he still draws passionate crowds up close and personal, and the summer tour will bring that spirit to larger venues and festival stages nationwide.
Buddy Guy’s 2026 tour isn’t just about hitting the road — it’s a testament to his remarkable longevity and a celebration of his legacy as a foundational figure in blues music. From his early days in Louisiana to pioneering the Chicago West Side sound and inspiring generations of guitarists, Guy remains a living bridge between blues history and today’s musical landscape.
