Classic rock icons The Guess Who, led by founding members Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman, have announced an extensive U.S. reunion tour for 2026 — their first full American run in 23 years. The trek, dubbed the Takin’ It Back Tour, celebrates the band’s legacy with a headline lineup of cities and features special guest Don Felder, formerly of the Eagles, on most dates.
The U.S. leg of the tour is scheduled to open on June 25, 2026, at Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee, Minnesota, near Minneapolis. From there, the band will crisscross the country with stops in major markets including Cincinnati, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles and Seattle, before concluding the North American run on August 22, 2026, in Seattle at Climate Pledge Arena.
Before hitting the United States, The Guess Who will launch the Takin’ It Back Tour in Canada, beginning May 26, 2026, in Moncton, New Brunswick and featuring a full slate of shows across the country, giving fans on both sides of the border a chance to experience the reunion.
The tour marks the first time Cummings and Bachman have toured together under The Guess Who name since resolving a long-running trademark dispute in 2024 that returned full rights to the band’s original leaders. That legal victory cleared the way for this major reunion — something many fans have eagerly awaited.
Cummings spoke to the emotional connection this tour represents, saying he and Bachman are “incredibly grateful that our music has endured all these years,” and that performing classic songs live remains deeply meaningful. “Knowing that people still want to hear these songs live means everything to us,” he added.
Bachman echoed that sentiment, expressing excitement about reuniting and celebrating a body of work that has stood the test of time. Both musicians emphasized that the 2026 tour is focused on honoring the music and delivering authentic live performances of fan favorites.
Fans can expect iconic Guess Who hits like “American Woman,” “These Eyes” and “No Time” alongside the band’s deep classic-rock catalog. Don Felder’s presence on the tour adds another layer of classic rock pedigree to the shows.
Ticket information: A Citi Cardmember presale began March 4, 2026, with an artist presale following later that day. General public ticket sales opened March 6, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time via The Guess Who’s official site, Live Nation, Ticketmaster and other authorized outlets.
This tour not only offers fans a rare chance to see Cummings and Bachman perform together again, but it also represents a long-awaited celebration of The Guess Who’s enduring influence on rock music after more than 50 years since their formation.
