Twisted Sister Announces First 2026 Tour Dates With Sebastian Bach

Twisted Sister are preparing to return to the stage in 2026, but the reunion will come with a major change. After longtime frontman Dee Snider stepped away from performing due to ongoing health issues, the band confirmed that former Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach will step in to front the band for a limited run of shows later this year.

The reunion was originally announced as part of Twisted Sister’s 50th-anniversary celebrations, marking a decade since their farewell tour ended in 2016. However, the band was forced to cancel their early-2026 tour plans when Snider revealed that a series of physical ailments — including degenerative arthritis and other health challenges — made it difficult for him to continue performing at the intense level that defined his career.

After stepping down, Snider explained that the decision was about preserving the band’s legacy rather than risking performances that wouldn’t meet fans’ expectations. Despite leaving the lineup, he publicly gave his blessing for the band to continue performing and supported the idea of bringing in a new vocalist to keep the music alive.

In March 2026, Twisted Sister announced that Sebastian Bach would take over lead-vocal duties for a handful of select reunion shows scheduled for the fall. In a statement shared on social media, the band said they were “thrilled to announce that iconic vocalist and frontman Sebastian Bach will be fronting the band for select dates,” adding that the appearances would not interfere with Bach’s own solo touring schedule.

Bach, best known for his explosive performances with Skid Row in the late 1980s and early ’90s, has long been a fan of Twisted Sister. He expressed excitement about the opportunity and described the chance to perform the band’s songs as a full-circle moment after growing up listening to their music.

The upcoming performances will feature Bach alongside founding guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda, with bassist Russell Pzütto and drummer Joey Cassata completing the lineup for the shows.

While the band has confirmed that the performances will take place in fall 2026, specific cities and exact tour dates have not yet been officially announced. The group has only stated that the reunion will consist of a small number of select appearances rather than a full international tour, with further details expected to be revealed in the coming months.

Even without a full schedule yet, the news has already sparked strong reactions from fans. Some are excited to hear Twisted Sister classics like “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock” performed again with Bach’s powerful vocals, while others believe the band will always be inseparable from Dee Snider’s unmistakable voice and stage presence.

Regardless of the debate, the reunion represents a surprising new chapter for one of the most recognizable bands of the 1980s metal scene — a band that built its legacy on loud guitars, theatrical performances and anthems that continue to resonate decades later.
