MARILYN MANSON Announces New Album ‘One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2’, Drops ‘Exit Wound’ Music Video

Shock-rock provocateur Marilyn Manson has officially announced the upcoming release of his 13th studio album, One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2. The record is scheduled to arrive worldwide on August 14, 2026, via Nuclear Blast Records.

To kickstart the new album cycle, Manson has unleashed the record’s lead single, “Exit Wound,” alongside an accompanying official music video. The track delivers a signature blend of industrial textures, aggressive guitar hooks, and raw, cinematic vocal delivery that harks back to his classic alternative metal roots.

The new LP serves as a direct sonic and thematic sequel to his late 2024 comeback effort, One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1, which marked his return to the music industry following a highly publicized period of legal battles and controversy.

Production and Collaborative Lineup

One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 consists of nine brand-new tracks. For this chapter, Manson re-teamed with his long-time creative partner, acclaimed film composer and musician Tyler Bates. The pair co-produced the entirety of the record, continuing the sharp, polished industrial-rock soundscapes that defined Chapter 1 and earlier collaborative milestones like The Pale Emperor.

While Bates co-wrote and produced the material, the project moves forward amid changes to Manson’s touring ensemble. Bates chose to step down from live duties earlier this year, prompting Manson to hitting the road with a newly revised live lineup—rumored to see the return of classic-era multi-instrumentalist Tim Skold—for his extensive global touring commitments throughout the summer and autumn.

‘One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2’ Track Listing:

  1. Unalive

  2. Don’t Answer The Door

  3. Front Toward Enemy

  4. All The Vilest Things

Global Tour Dates and Physical Configurations

The rollout of Chapter 2 aligns perfectly with Manson’s massive international itinerary. The band is scheduled to begin a string of major European festival and headline appearances this July, followed by a sweeping North American amphitheater run that kicks off less than a week after the album hits shelves.

Physical formats for the album are currently available for pre-order, including standard CD editions, a variety of limited-edition colored vinyl configurations (such as “Green & Blue Marble” and “Pink & Red Swirl” variants), and exclusive multi-buy bundles.
