Massive Fall Anniversary Tour Mapped Out
The album announcement arrives on the heels of the previously revealed “Break The Cycle 25th Anniversary Tour.” Prepared to hit the road this autumn, the highly anticipated 25-date trek will celebrate the groundbreaking music that permanently cemented Staind’s legacy in alternative rock history.
Produced by Live Nation, the tour is scheduled to kick off this September, making stops at major amphitheaters and arenas across the United States and Canada before wrapping up with a final performance in Dallas, Texas.
To turn the tour into a true celebration of late-90s and early-2000s rock royalty, Staind has assembled a powerhouse traveling lineup:
Direct Support: Seether
Special Guests & Openers: Hoobastank and Hinder
The Legacy of a Multi-Platinum Juggernaut
Originally formed in 1995, Staind has built a formidable legacy across eight studio albums. However, it was 2001’s Break The Cycle that launched them into permanent rock superstardom. The record earned a staggering five-times-platinum certification from the RIAA and produced the crossover smash “It’s Been Awhile.”
The signature ballad famously climbed into the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100 and dominated modern rock radio waves, spending an astonishing 20 weeks at No. 1 to become one of the most played tracks in the history of the format. Over the course of their career, the band also secured multiple Billboard 200 chart-toppers and massive rock radio hits, including:
-
“Fade”
-
“For You”
-
“Price to Pay”
-
“So Far Away”
-
“Right Here”
Following a highly publicized five-year hiatus, the band triumphantly reunited in 2019 for landmark festival sets and a hometown reunion show that yielded the live release Live: It’s Been Awhile.
New Music and What Lies Ahead
Staind has undergone a massive creative resurgence in recent years. In September 2023, the band released Confessions Of The Fallen—their eighth studio album and first full-length effort in twelve years. The record comfortably soared to No. 1 on Billboard’s Active Rock Album chart, powered by the consecutive No. 1 Active Rock singles “Lowest In Me” and “Here And Now.”
The band followed that success in September 2024 with a digital deluxe edition of the album, featuring three bonus tracks including “Full Of Emptiness” and the fan-favorite radio version of “Better Days” featuring Dorothy.
Longtime fans won’t have to wait another decade for the next chapter, either. Frontman Aaron Lewis and the band have already quietly completed work on their ninth studio album, which is tentatively scheduled for a global release in early 2027.
