Status Quo co-founder and rock icon Francis Rossi is giving fans even more chances to experience his legendary catalog live, announcing a major second leg of his acclaimed ‘Songbook: Quo – Past, Present, Future’ theatre tour for spring 2027.
The extension follows the already-booked autumn 2026 run and adds 31 fresh shows across the UK, running from March to May 2027. It kicks off at Wimborne Tivoli Theatre on Wednesday, March 17, 2027, and concludes at Lowestoft Marina Theatre on Saturday, May 8, 2027.
Rossi, the unmistakable voice and guitarist behind countless Quo anthems, will deliver a handpicked mix of Status Quo classics, deep cuts, and a brand-new medley. Audiences can expect personal stories, insights, and his unique interpretations in an intimate theatre setting that highlights the connection he’s built with fans over decades.
“I am delighted to extend this run from the thirty dates already announced for later this year,” Rossi said. “The pressure is on once more, as I have put together a really packed new show. I have really enjoyed taking the current show into Europe but can’t wait to get back out on the road in the UK again… These theatre shows are a great way to really connect with the audience, and try something a little bit different.”
VIP Soundcheck Experience tickets offer premium perks, including access to a special soundcheck with two exclusive songs, a backstage rundown with Rossi’s sound engineer, prime seating, a limited-edition signed 7” single, and an exclusive tour lanyard.
Tickets for the new 2027 dates go on sale Friday, June 19, 2026, at 10am via Planet Rock Tickets.
At 77, Rossi continues to celebrate his monumental legacy with Status Quo, the boogie-rock titans responsible for hits like “Down Down,” “Caroline,” “Rockin’ All Over the World,” and “Whatever You Want.” The band has sold over 100 million records worldwide and defined British rock for generations. While Status Quo’s full-band touring chapter appears to have wound down, Rossi’s solo Songbook shows keep the spirit alive with fresh energy.
The tour also aligns with Rossi’s recent solo output, including his 2026 album The Accidental, which marked a louder, guitar-driven return to form.
