Today thousands of fans lined Birmingham’s Broad Street as the hearse carrying the late Ozzy Osbourne moved through the city in a public funeral procession honoring the legendary Black Sabbath frontman.
Accompanied by a live brass band that blasted out high-energy renditions of “Crazy Train” and “Iron Man,” the crowd cheered, clapped, and chanted Ozzy’s name, turning the farewell into a celebration of his life and music.
Watched by his wife Sharon and their children—Kelly, Jack, Aimee, and Louis—the cortege made its way through the heart of Ozzy’s hometown. It concluded at the Black Sabbath bench and canal bridge, where family members laid roses and greeted fans with peace signs.
In the city where his journey began, Birmingham gave the “Prince of Darkness” one final, thunderous salute.
