AC/DC

AC/DC recently shared an exciting update on their official X account. They proudly displayed a poster showcasing their long-awaited return to Europe after an eight-year hiatus, and included the following message:

The Pretty Reckless has been chosen to accompany AC/DC on their upcoming European tour.

The Pretty Reckless is getting ready to kick off the ‘Power Up’ tour by opening for AC/DC on 21 upcoming dates. They’re currently in the process of creating a new album titled ‘Other Worlds‘. It’s set to be released this year.

The band embarked on their most recent tour, the Death by Rock and Roll Tour, alongside Shinedown and Halestorm in 2022.

AC/DC To Tour With A New Member

AC/DC is embarking on a new tour, accompanied by a fresh addition to their bass lineup. In February, they announced the tour dates and introduced the new bassist.

Chris Chaney from Jane’s Addiction is taking over for Cliff Williams, who decided to retire in 2016. Last month, the band made an announcement:

We are excited to officially announce the upcoming ‘POWER UP’ European Tour. Chris Chaney will join Angus, Brian, Stevie, and Matt to honor Cliff’s legacy. We have an exciting tour lined up for this Summer, with shows scheduled in Germany, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, England, Slovakia, Belgium, France, and Ireland. Join us as we travel across Europe, bringing our music to fans in these amazing countries. We’re eagerly looking forward to seeing everyone out there.

The Journey and the Newest Record

The tour will begin on May 17 at Veltins Arena in Germany and conclude on August 17 in Dublin, Ireland. AC/DC has announced a concert to showcase their latest album ‘Power Up’ in 2020.

The group documented the record between 2018 and 2019. However, right when they were about to launch it, the COVID-19 pandemic struck, putting a halt to all live music events.

AC/DC made their highly anticipated return to the stage at the Power Trip 2023. They marked their first performance since the passing of Malcolm Young.
