Alice Cooper Announces Autobiography Devil On My Shoulder And 2026 UK Book Tour

Shock-rock legend Alice Cooper is set to release his long-awaited autobiography later this year—and he’s taking the story on the road with a special UK speaking tour.

The rock icon will publish his definitive memoir, Devil On My Shoulder, in autumn 2026, giving fans a deep dive into his decades-long career, outrageous stage persona, and the real stories behind one of rock’s most theatrical performers.

A Long-Awaited Rock Memoir

Devil On My Shoulder will be released in hardback on Thursday, October 8, 2026, published by Ebury Spotlight. The book is already available for pre-order in the UK with a retail price of £25.

The autobiography promises a definitive account of Cooper’s remarkable journey—from his rise as the pioneer of shock rock in the early 1970s to his decades of theatrical concerts and legendary stage antics.

Known for elaborate stage shows featuring guillotines, snakes, electric chairs, and dark humor, Cooper helped redefine what a rock concert could be. Over the years, the performer—born Vincent Furnier—has become one of rock’s most recognizable figures.

“Devil On My Shoulder” UK Speaking Tour

Just days after the book hits shelves, Cooper will embark on a special UK speaking tour, where fans can hear the stories behind the music directly from the man himself.

The event is billed as “an evening of unforgettable stories from the Godfather of Shock Rock.” Each night will feature a live conversation, audience Q&A session, and a guest moderator discussing Cooper’s life and career.

The tour begins three days after the book’s release, launching on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

From classics like School’s Out, Poison, and Feed My Frankenstein to his elaborate stage productions, Cooper’s career has consistently blurred the line between rock music and theatrical spectacle.

With Devil On My Shoulder, fans will finally get a deeper look into the man behind the makeup—and the extraordinary stories that helped define one of rock’s most enduring careers.
