Black Label Society Announces Engines of Demolition With Ozzy Osbourne Tribute

Heavy metal outfit Black Label Society has announced their latest full-length, Engines of Demolition, set to arrive March 27, 2026 via MNRK Heavy. The new release will be the band’s twelfth studio album and follows 2021’s Doom Crew Inc.. Preorders are available now, and early purchasers will get immediate access to several previously released tracks.

Perhaps the most striking detail on Engines of Demolition is track 13, mysteriously titled “Ozzy’s Song.” The name isn’t a gimmick: frontman and guitarist Zakk Wylde has a decades-long history with Ozzy Osbourne, serving as his lead guitarist on many of Black Sabbath’s and Ozzy’s solo records. Wylde and Osbourne also shared the stage at the Back to the Beginning farewell concert in July 2025 — a performance that, in hindsight, became a final chapter in their long musical partnership.

Wylde’s connection to Ozzy stretches back to the late 1980s, when he first joined the Prince of Darkness’s band, helping shape classic albums and enduring tours. Their relationship was as much personal as professional, and this tribute track underscores the depth of that bond.

What Engines of Demolition Includes

The album spans 15 tracks, blending brand-new material with previously released singles. Digital preorder buyers will receive three pre-released songs plus two unreleased tracks right away. The full list is as follows:

  3. The Hand of Tomorrow’s Grave
  4. Better Days & Wiser Times
  5. Broken and Blind
  6. The Gallows

  14. Name in Blood (Unblackened)
  15. Lord Humungus (Unblackened)

The singles already teased from the record include “Broken and Blind,” “Lord Humungus,” and “The Gallows.” These songs showcase the band’s blend of heavy riffs, melody, and emotional heft.

To promote Engines of Demolition, Black Label Society will hit the road on a North American tour. In a nod to their roots and Wylde’s legacy, his side project Zakk Sabbath — a tribute band honoring Black Sabbath’s music — will open many of the shows, giving fans double the steel-wielding guitar work in one night.
