Rock band Creed delivered one of the biggest moments of the 2026 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo when they performed their long-awaited debut at NRG Stadium on March 11, 2026.

The concert drew a massive crowd of 70,007 fans, packing the stadium and marking one of the most attended shows of the event’s season.

Anticipation for Creed’s appearance was enormous from the moment tickets went on sale. The show reportedly sold out in less than 30 minutes, highlighting the renewed popularity of the band more than two decades after their late-1990s breakthrough.

The performance marked the group’s first-ever appearance at RodeoHouston, making it one of the most anticipated debuts in the event’s lineup for 2026.

A Nostalgic Night for Fans

When the lights dimmed inside NRG Stadium, Creed launched their set with the heavy track “Bullets,” immediately igniting the crowd. The band delivered a 10-song set packed with their biggest hits, including:

Fans throughout the stadium sang along loudly to the band’s signature anthems, turning the performance into a massive sing-along celebration of late-1990s and early-2000s rock.

Scott Stapp’s Message to the Crowd

Frontman Scott Stapp commanded the stage with a powerful presence, speaking between songs about themes of faith, redemption, and self-worth.

Observers noted that his speeches felt almost like a motivational talk or revival-style address, with Stapp encouraging fans to reflect on their struggles and find strength and unity.

During the emotional performance of With Arms Wide Open, thousands of fans lit up the stadium with phone lights, creating one of the night’s most memorable visual moments.

Pyrotechnics and Rock Spectacle

The show also featured a dramatic production, with pyrotechnic blasts and arena-style lighting amplifying the band’s signature post-grunge sound.

Combined with the rotating rodeo stage and massive crowd, the performance delivered the kind of arena spectacle rarely seen at the event’s rock shows.

Creed’s Resurgence

Creed were one of the biggest rock bands of the late 1990s and early 2000s, fueled by the success of albums like Human Clay, which sold more than 11 million copies in the United States alone.

After years of hiatuses and lineup changes, the band has experienced a major resurgence in recent years, driven by nostalgia, social media trends, and renewed interest in early-2000s rock.

A Major Moment for RodeoHouston

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, held annually at NRG Stadium, is the largest livestock show and rodeo in the world and regularly hosts major music acts during its multi-week event.

Creed’s debut performance proved to be one of the standout concerts of the 2026 season, drawing more than 70,000 fans and demonstrating that the band’s music still resonates with audiences decades after their rise to fame.

For longtime fans — and a new generation discovering their songs — the night felt like a powerful reminder that Creed’s anthemic rock still has the power to fill stadiums.
