After months of powerful live performances, DISTURBED have officially concluded their The Sickness 25th Anniversary European Tour, closing the run on October 28, 2025. The final show marked the end of a celebratory trek that honored the band’s groundbreaking 2000 debut album The Sickness, which helped define the sound of early 2000s hard rock and metal.
Frontman David Draiman took to Instagram to thank fans, crew, and his bandmates while revealing that the group will now take some time away from the stage. In a heartfelt post, Draiman wrote:
“Headed home!!! Thanks so much to EVERYONE that made The Sickness 25 a tour to truly remember! Crew, Management, Agent, Promoters, and ESPECIALLY my brothers in Disturbed. Not sure when we will be headed back out. We all need a nice long break. Hope to see you when we do.”
The tour, which began in the summer of 2025, saw the band performing across major European cities, including Berlin, Paris, London, Milan, and Warsaw, delivering high-octane sets packed with classics like “Down with the Sickness,” “Stupify,” and “Voices.” Fans were treated to a mix of nostalgia and intensity that reaffirmed why Disturbed remains one of the defining acts in modern metal.
While Draiman didn’t specify how long the hiatus would last, his message hinted at much-needed rest following a busy touring cycle that included North America and festival appearances earlier in the year.
Still, the frontman’s gratitude and tone suggest that this isn’t goodbye — just a pause. The break may also serve as an opportunity for the band to recharge creatively, potentially paving the way for new material once they’re ready to return.
As Draiman put it, “Hope to see you when we do.” For fans, that simple promise keeps anticipation alive — because when Disturbed returns, the sickness will rise again.
