Godsmack Announces Massive “The Rise of Rock” 2026 North American Tour With Stone Temple Pilots + Dorothy

Multi-platinum hard rock mainstays Godsmack have announced an expansive North American tour for 2026, titled The Rise of Rock World Tour, with support from legacy rock act Stone Temple Pilots and rising hard rock outfit Dorothy. The sprawling run will take the band through amphitheaters, music festivals and large outdoor venues across the U.S. and Canada from May through September.

Promoted by Live Nation, the trek kicks off on May 7 at Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, Florida, and spans multiple regions and climates throughout the spring and summer, wrapping up September 26 in Nampa, Idaho — capping a season of rock that stretches over four months. Festival dates such as Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival and others are mixed into the itinerary, giving fans a mix of standalone shows and multi-day festival experiences.

Godsmack’s tour will feature Stone Temple Pilots — veterans of ’90s and post-grunge rock — as the primary supporting act for most dates, while Dorothy will open as a high-energy presence throughout the journey. Several shows are billed as festival appearances, and a few dates will only feature Dorothy without STP.

Among the many stops are major metropolitan markets and iconic rock venues, including:

  • May 10 – Bristow, VA – Jiffy Lube Live
  • May 17 – Columbus, OH – Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival
  • May 29 – Austin, TX – Germania Insurance Amphitheater
  • Jun 28 – Holmdel, NJ – PNC Bank Arts Center
  • Sep 11 – Las Vegas, NV – Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
  • Sep 15 – Chula Vista, CA – North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre
…with many more dates in between.

Tickets for The Rise of Rock World Tour will go on sale beginning with Live Nation and Citi presales, followed by general sales starting Friday, February 6 at 10:00 a.m. local time. In addition to standard tickets, exclusive VIP experiences such as the “BulletProof” package are available, offering perks like priority entry, collectible art prints, guitar pick sets and commemorative VIP lamination.

For Godsmack — who first broke out in the late 1990s and early 2000s with hits like “I Stand Alone” and “Awake” — this tour represents both a celebration of their career longevity and a reaffirmation of their influence in rock music. Sharing the stage with Stone Temple Pilots — themselves emblematic of ’90s rock — and Dorothy, a band bringing fresh energy to the classic rock sound, the lineup spans generations of fans.

The tour’s name, The Rise of Rock, signals a unifying theme around rock’s resilience and continued relevance, as Godsmack head into what promises to be a landmark year on the road.
