Graham Nash Confirms Crosby, Stills & Nash Documentary with Unreleased Songs Compilation

Graham Nash is looking both backward and forward as he continues his musical journey, revealing plans for a major documentary about Crosby, Stills & Nash, a rarities compilation, and new solo material.

In a recent interview, Nash confirmed that acclaimed filmmaker Robert Zemeckis is currently “putting the finishing touches” on a long-awaited documentary about Crosby, Stills & Nash. The project has been in development for years, with the late David Crosby first mentioning it back in 2021.

Speaking about the film, Nash emphasized that it will go beyond the band’s well-known tensions and conflicts. Instead, he said the documentary captures something deeper:

“It shows how much we love each other.”

He acknowledged the group’s history of disagreements but stressed that the film highlights the enduring bond and musical importance the trio built over decades. According to Nash, viewers will gain a clearer understanding of just how significant Crosby, Stills & Nash have been over the past 60 years.

Alongside the documentary, Nash also revealed plans for a companion rarities compilation, created with longtime collaborator Joel Bernstein. The project is expected to include around 30 tracks, with a remarkable 80–85% of the material previously unreleased.

The recordings span nearly three decades, covering the period from 1968 to 1997, offering fans a deep dive into the band’s creative history. Nash explained that the goal is to release the collection alongside the documentary, creating a more complete retrospective experience for listeners.

At the same time, Nash remains creatively active as a solo artist. While discussing his current work, he introduced a new solo song, continuing to demonstrate that even after decades in music, he is still writing and recording. His ongoing tour — featuring dozens of U.S. dates — reflects that same commitment to staying connected with audiences.

Now in his 80s, Nash is balancing reflection with forward momentum. The upcoming documentary and archival release look back at one of rock’s most influential groups, while his new material shows he has no intention of slowing down.

Taken together, these projects form a broader statement: the story of Crosby, Stills & Nash isn’t finished — and neither is Graham Nash’s role in shaping it.
