Iron Maiden Announce 2026 “Run for Your Lives” European Tour Dates

Iron Maiden have officially announced the first dates of their 2026 Run for Your Lives 50th-anniversary tour, confirming another round of European summer shows. The new leg kicks off on May 23 in Athens, Greece, and runs through July 11 in the United Kingdom, where the band will headline a special UK show, with full details to be revealed soon. Tickets for the 2026 European dates go on sale September 22, with more international dates expected to follow.

A highlight of this new run will be the band’s June 22 concert in Paris at the Paris La Défense Arena, which will be filmed for fans worldwide. “The band will also return to Paris so that our Run For Your Lives show can be filmed for our fans and for posterity!” Iron Maiden announced. They emphasized their choice of an indoor arena to best capture both the full production and the famously energetic Paris crowd. The group also asked fans to continue limiting phone use during shows, as they did in 2025, noting that it created a powerful atmosphere that elevated every performance.

The Run for Your Lives tour has been especially meaningful for fans, focusing exclusively on songs from the band’s first nine albums, spanning 1980’s Iron Maiden through 1992’s Fear of the Dark. At the 2025 kickoff, Maiden dusted off several songs that hadn’t been played live in decades, including “Murders in the Rue Morgue” (last performed in 2005), “Killers” (1999), and the epic “Rime of the Ancient Mariner” (2009).

This tour also marks the first full run with new drummer Simon Dawson, who joined the band following Nicko McBrain’s retirement from touring at the end of 2024. Dawson, a longtime collaborator of Steve Harris in British Lion, has already been embraced by fans for his energy and seamless chemistry with the group.
