Peter Criss, the original drummer of KISS, has announced the release of his first solo album in 18 years. The album, which is set to be released this fall, has been produced by Barry Pointer, known for his work with artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Marilyn Manson, and John 5. The project features notable guest musicians, including bassist Billy Sheehan and keyboardist Paul Shaffer.
In a recent social media post, Criss shared a teaser video hinting at the album’s release, featuring the date “October 31, 2025,” and the logos of record labels FlatIron and Silver Cat. This has led fans to anticipate an official announcement on Halloween.
Criss expressed his excitement about the album, stating, “I have my new rock and roll album to you, Kiss Army guys, coming out in the fall. And I really hope you like it, man. What can I say? We had a ball.”
The album marks a significant return for Criss, who retired from touring in 2017 after his final full concert in New York City. His last studio album, One for All, was released in 2007.
Fans can look forward to a hard rock experience, as Criss has described the album as “hard rock, kick-a–.”
