Judas Priest studio album “Invincible Shield” will release on 2024

Judas Priest has announced that their forthcoming album, “Invincible Shield,” is now open for pre-orders. The album will be officially dropped through  Sony Music on 8 March 2024.

The incorporation of Glenn Tipton as a guitarist on the “Invincible Shield” record sounds to be exciting. Despite his battle with Parkinson’s for the past few years, Tipton has actively appeared on stage whenever he could. As stated in the listing, Judas Priest is composed of Rob Halford, Ian Hill, Glenn Tipton, Scott Travis, and Richie Faulkner.

After “Firepower”, the  English heavy metal band’s first studio album since 1988’s, also released in 2018, this will be their 19th studio album.

“Invincible Shield” is also now up for pre-order, in multiple schemes and collections.

The band’s frontman Rob Halford announced the album’s title at the Power Trip festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California on Saturday (October 7). The event began on Friday with performances by Guns N’ Roses and Iron Maiden. AC/DC and Priest took the spotlight on Saturday, and on Sunday, Metallica and Tool are set to perform.

Last year, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame finally welcomed Priest. They also rebounded with former guitarist K.K. Downing and ex-drummer Les Binks. Together, they performed a historic medley of their greatest hits.

The reunion gave rise to rumors about Downing making a permanent comeback, but he has recently denied any possibility of that happening.
