Liam Gallagher has expressed dissatisfaction with Oasis‘ nomination for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The rocker responded to the news that the band is on the shortlist for potential induction in 2024 by implying that he is not interested in receiving such an honor.

The rocker took on X and shared his thoughts on the Hall of Fame. “F*ck the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is full of BUMBACLARTS.

Oasis fan page mentioned that the band was losing its Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination. Fan expressed disinterest in Gallagher’s opinion on the subject. Gallagher responded, “Don’t waste your time kid as much as it’s appreciated it’s all a load of bollox.”

A fan inquired whether any other members of Oasis would attend the ceremony if the band won and received the award. To this he responded, referring to his brother. “The little fella enjoys hanging out with celebrities, so he would probably go. As for me, I’m washing my hair and getting a pedicure and manicure.

Oasis’ Hall Of Fame Nomination

The 51-year-old English singer-songwriter performed with the band for an impressive 18 years. It was before the group of five members split up in 2009. The separation was due to a contentious feud between Liam and his older brother Noel Gallagher, which is still unresolved.

On February 10th, the ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger‘ group was among the nominees shortlisted for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 2024 class.

Some artists initially opposed their nominations. Artists such as Dolly Parton, have eventually accepted the idea of induction. Liam Gallagher’s obvious hostility may have a dampening effect on voting among the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 1,000-plus electors.

Despite Liam’s assertions, Noel Gallagher has yet to respond or confirm his attendance at the ceremony. Unlike his brother, Noel prefers to maintain a low-key social media presence, with a more amiable account managed by his label.
