Liam Gallagher Says Oasis Must ‘Sit Down and Discuss Their Future’— As If That’s Ever Worked Before

Liam Gallagher has revealed that Oasis “need to sit down and discuss” what comes next for the band once their 2025 reunion tour ends.

This year has felt like a full-on Oasis revival. The band launched their Live ’25 tour in July, taking them through the UK, US, Ireland, Canada, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, South America — and now, Liam says things beyond this run are still very much up in the air.

While responding to fans on X (formerly Twitter), Liam answered “NO” when asked in one word if Oasis would tour in 2026 — but then followed up with, “YES IM FUCKING SERIOUS.”  In a more measured post, he explained:

“You will see me next year and the year after … just not sure yet if it’ll be with Oasis. We need to sit down and discuss these things. If it was all up to me … we’d be touring till the day we die … but unfortunately it’s not.”

Liam has hinted before that the reunion might not just be a one-off. He’s said things like “it’s not even HALF TIME yet — it’s a tour of 2 halves” and even told fans at Wembley Stadium, “See you next year.”

There’s also off-stage drama fueling speculation. A comment made in the House of Lords earlier this year — by Lady Taylor of Stevenage — claimed Oasis could play five shows at Knebworth House in July 2026.  But, she later clarified that she was speaking hypothetically.

Interestingly, when asked about the 2026 future, Liam admitted he’d raised eyebrows:

“There were a few tuts and raised eyebrows.”

So, what are we to make of all this? Liam’s leaving the door open — but he’s not promising anything. He’s being honest about the uncertainty and making it clear: the future of Oasis isn’t just his call, and for now, the conversation is just getting started.
