Masked UK outfit PRESIDENT have officially escalated the hype around their rise, announcing their debut full-length album, Blood of Your Empire, while also dropping a new single and video for “DOOM LOOP.” The album is set to arrive on September 4 via Atlantic Records, and pre-orders are already live.
“DOOM LOOP” is being positioned as one of the band’s most ambitious songs so far. It opens with a spoken-word passage about time and memory, then drives into a tense electro-rock surge that leans into PRESIDENT’s heavy, cinematic identity. The band says the song is about “the strange tragedy of time” and the way people spend their lives chasing, wasting, and fearing it before realizing its value only after the moment has passed.
The album itself goes even deeper thematically. PRESIDENT say Blood of Your Empire came from the frontman’s struggle with existential crisis and his attempt to make sense of belief, mortality, and humanity’s relationship with faith. The band described religion as something capable of inspiring “incredible compassion, purpose, and beauty,” while also pointing to the suffering and bloodshed tied to its history. They frame the record as a project built on that tension.
The album will feature 10 tracks: “Angel Wings,” “DOOM LOOP,” “dark heaven,” “Pink Noise,” “Mercy,” “Sleepwalker,” “Dionysus,” “This Will Divide Us,” “Hate Figure” featuring Ando San, and “White Devil.” The band has already released “Angel Wings” and “Mercy” earlier in 2026, with “DOOM LOOP” now serving as the next push into the album campaign.
Visually, the rollout stays just as deliberate. The album artwork uses Eugène Delacroix’s painting The Battle of Poitiers, which hangs in the Louvre, reinforcing the project’s dramatic and theatrical aesthetic. That fits PRESIDENT’s wider identity: anonymous, tightly controlled, and built around spectacle without giving away too much of the people behind it.
The announcement also comes with a big live push. PRESIDENT will launch their first-ever U.S. headlining run this fall, beginning on September 4 in Nashville and running through October 14 in Dallas, with support from Cenobia and Showing Teeth on select dates. The tour is already sold out, which only adds more heat to a rollout that already feels like a breakthrough moment.
