When Radiohead walked onto the floor of Madrid’s Movistar Arena on November 4 2025, it wasn’t just another concert—it marked their long-awaited return to live shows after a seven-year hiatus. The British art-rock icons had announced the tour back in September, and drummer Phil Selway put it simply: “Last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it. After a seven-year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us.”

On September 3 2025, Radiohead confirmed their first tour since 2018—a 20-show run across Europe, covering five cities: Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen and Berlin.  Each city would see four nights, and registration for tickets opened straight through Radiohead’s official channels.

Frontman Thom Yorke admitted the tour wasn’t about chasing massive arenas or commercial spectacle: “We’re not going to be one of those bands that get together for the big payday.”

Madrid Setlist + Show Highlights

Madrid’s opening night delivered a 25-song set (as reported by multiple outlets) that touched virtually every era of the band’s work.  The show opened with “Let Down”, a track from 1997’s OK Computer, which recently went viral on TikTok. From there the band moved through deep cuts and fan favourites, including:

  1. Let Down
  2. 2 + 2 = 5
  3. Sit Down. Stand Up.
  4. Bloom
  5. Lucky
  6. Ful Stop
  7. The Gloaming
  8. Myxomatosis
  9. No Surprises
  10. Videotape
  11. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
  12. Everything in Its Right Place
  13. 15 Step
  14. The National Anthem
  15. Daydreaming
  16. A Wolf at the Door
  17. Bodysnatchers

  21. Paranoid Android
  22. How to Disappear Completely

  24. There There
  25. Karma Police

The crowd-in-the-round staging (where the band played surrounded by audience) added a charged intimacy to the show—something they haven’t done since 1993.

Jonny Greenwood admitted there were unknowns: “We haven’t thought past the tour.” Yorke nodded in agreement: “I’m just stunned we got this far.”  Their message to fans was clear: this isn’t about nostalgia—it’s about rediscovering who they are.

Radiohead’s tour continues through December 12, 2025, culminating in Berlin.  While no new album has yet been confirmed, fans and critics alike are watching closely. The band may be back—and if Madrid is any indication, they’re sounding more vital than ever.
