Ritchie Blackmore’s long-running folk-rock project Blackmore’s Night, fronted by Blackmore and Candice Night, has announced six new concert dates this November celebrating over 25 years of their music.

Formed in 1997, Blackmore’s Night have built a unique niche blending Renaissance and folk-rock with medieval instrumentation, acoustic and electric touches, mandolins, hurdy-gurdy, violin and woodwinds.  Their most recent studio album, Nature’s Light, was released in 2021.

The fall 2025 run will take place on the U.S. East Coast and New England. They will begin on November 9 at The Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia, and finish on November 29 at Tarrytown Music Hall in Tarrytown, New York, stopping at venues in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York State along the way.

Health has become a concern. Candice Night revealed that Blackmore suffered a heart attack in 2023, and also battles gout, arthritis, and back problems. She noted “it’s getting harder for him.” The November shows will thus be especially meaningful, a chance to see this mystical, pastoral sound live once more.

Performances will feature the band’s core lineup: Blackmore and Night themselves are constants, accompanied by Bard David on keyboards, violinist Scarlett Fiddler, rhythm guitarist/backing singer Lady Jessie, bassist Earl Grey, and percussionist Troubadour of Aberdeen.
