After a successful string of concerts across North America in 2024, The Rolling Stones are reportedly gearing up to announce an extensive tour of the United Kingdom and Europe in the coming weeks. This new leg of their Hackney Diamonds tour, in support of their 2023 album, will see the legendary rock band return to the UK for the first time in three years, following their two-night stint at London’s Hyde Park.

The Stones’ connection to their hometown of London remains strong, though their last performance in the capital was in 2022, when they headlined Hyde Park as part of their 60th anniversary celebrations. This marked the first tour without their longtime drummer Charlie Watts, who passed away in 2021.

Now, the band is set to announce a residency at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London, with four nights scheduled. With a capacity of 62,000, these shows could draw nearly 250,000 fans over the residency, according to MailOnline. It’s still unclear if these London dates will be their only UK performances, though there are rumors they’ll also visit Barcelona, Rome, Amsterdam, and Paris.

The 2024 North American tour, which started in April, was a massive success, earning the band an estimated $235 million, equating to roughly $11.75 million per show. This tour was led by the core trio of Mick Jagger (81), Keith Richards (81), and Ronnie Wood (77), who continue to thrill audiences with their timeless rock sound.

The upcoming UK and European dates further prove The Rolling Stones’ enduring appeal. From their early days in the 1960s as blues-influenced rockers to today, they’ve maintained their place at the top of the rock world, selling out stadiums even in their later years.
