RUSH Expands Their 2026 “Fifty Something” Tour With Dozens of New Dates

Rush, the Canadian prog-rock pioneers, have expanded their upcoming 2026 North American headline tour—dubbed the Fifty Something Tour—adding dozens of additional shows amid intense fan demand.

The tour marks the first time Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will perform live under the Rush banner since 2015’s R40 run. They’ll be joined by German drummer Anika Nilles, filling the role left vacant following Neil Peart’s passing in 2020.

Originally announced with a modest number of dates, the band revealed new shows across sixteen more U.S. and Canadian cities, then doubled it by adding second nights—bringing the total to around 50-plus shows.    Key early stops include:

  • Jun 7-13 2026: Kia Forum, Los Angeles, CA (starting where they left off)
  • Jun 18 2026: Mexico City, MX – Palacio de los Deportes
  • Jul 16-22 2026: Chicago United Center, IL
  • Jul 28-Aug 3 2026: Madison Square Garden, New York, NY
  • Aug 7-13 2026: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, ON
  • Additional newly added cities: Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Edmonton, Seattle, Vancouver and more.

Each night is billed as an “evening with Rush” show—featuring two full sets per night, with varying setlists drawn from a catalogue of 35 songs including cherished deep cuts and classics.

Ticketing specifics: The artist presale for newly added dates begins October 27, 2025, followed by general public on-sale on Friday, October 31 at noon (local time).

With renewed energy and decades of music behind them, Rush’s expanded run is more than a reunion—it’s a celebration and a tribute. For fans old and new, 2026 won’t just be another tour—it’ll be the moment Rush picked up the torch once more.
