Stewart Copeland Announces 2026 Spoken-Word Tour: ‘Have I Said Too Much’ Across 34 Cities

Stewart Copeland — the legendary drummer and co-founder of The Police — has unveiled a major 2026 tour that’s a bit different from your typical concert run. Instead of a standard rock show, Copeland’s Have I Said Too Much – The Police, Hollywood, and Other Adventures tour will be a spoken-word and storytelling tour across 34 North American cities this summer.

This summer’s trek — Copeland’s first dedicated spoken-word tour in North America — kicks off on June 3, 2026, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and runs through August 7, 2026, in Hopewell, Virginia.

Rather than traditional concerts, the evenings will consist of on-stage conversations, rare photos and video, personal anecdotes, and a Q&A with fans. Copeland plans to reflect on his decades-long career — from his early days in The Police and work in Hollywood to life as a composer and writer — with humor, insight and perspective.

Tickets for most dates go on sale to the public on Friday, February 13, 2026, with artist presales starting Wednesday, February 12.

Have I Said Too Much – The Police, Hollywood, and Other Adventures isn’t a typical concert tour — it’s an intimate evening with a rock legend. Copeland will share stories about:

  • His time with The Police, one of rock’s most influential bands
  • Hollywood and soundtrack work
  • Personal life as a touring musician
  • Creative projects beyond the drum kit
  • And more, often with visual aids, photos and video clips to illustrate the tales

Each stop will also include a fan Q&A session, adding an interactive element that makes this more like a live autobiography than a performance.

Highlights from Copeland’s tour itinerary include stops in:

  • June 3 – Ft. Lauderdale, FL @ Amaturo Theatre
  • June 5 – Clearwater, FL @ Capitol Theatre
  • June 7 – Ponte Vedra Beach, FL @ Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

This tour spans a wide range of markets, giving fans from coast to coast the chance to see Copeland in a rare conversational setting.

Copeland is often celebrated as one of rock’s greatest drummers, helping steer The Police to international fame with his inventive playing style and creative energy. He is also a multi-Grammy winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and his work spans composing for film, video games and more.

In recent years, he’s brought his Have I Said Too Much concept on the road internationally, including performances in Australia and New Zealand, where his storytelling and candid commentary have been widely praised.

For many fans, this tour offers a rare chance to see Copeland off the drum riser and in an intimate, reflective spotlight, blending humor, music lore and personal insight in a way few rock veterans ever do.
