Styx have announced that their first shows of 2026 will feature their 1978 multi-platinum album Pieces of Eight played in full, along with a selection of their biggest hits. The group will kick off the performances at The Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas on January 23, 24, 28, 30, and 31, all shows beginning at 8:30 p.m. PT.
Back in 1978, Pieces of Eight solidified Styx’s place among rock’s biggest late-’70s acts, thanks to Tommy Shaw’s breakout singles “Renegade” and “Blue Collar Man (Long Nights).” The band first gained fame with The Grand Illusion in 1977, but it was Pieces of Eight that helped push them to new heights.
Pre-sales for the newly announced dates begin at 10 p.m. PT on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 for Citi cardmembers via the Citi Entertainment program. General public pre-sales will start at 10 a.m. PT on Friday, September 26 through Ticketmaster, The Venetian’s website, the Venetian box office, and by phone.
