The iconic rock band The Eagles are continuing what’s become one of the most talked-about farewell runs in music — their The Long Goodbye tour — with a new stadium leg called “The Long Goodbye, Act III.” Following an extended residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, the band has announced three major stadium concerts across the U.S. this May, including a much-anticipated stop in Nashville, Tennessee.

These new dates represent a fresh chapter in the band’s ongoing farewell after more than 50 years of touring, recording and performing around the world. Known for timeless classics like Hotel California, Take It Easy and Desperado, the Eagles have sold over 150 million albums, earned six Grammy Awards, and become one of rock music’s most enduring acts.

2026 “The Long Goodbye, Act III” Stadium Dates

The current slate of Act III stadium shows includes:

  • May 5, 2026 — Atlanta, GA at Truist Park
  • May 9, 2026 — Nashville, TN at FirstBank Stadium at Vanderbilt University
  • May 16, 2026 — Arlington, TX at Globe Life Field

The Nashville show on May 9 is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. local time and includes support from the Grammy Award-winning Tedeschi Trucks Band, who will serve as special guests for the entire Act III run.

Before this stadium leg, the Eagles will continue performances as part of their Sphere residency in Las Vegas, which runs through April 11, 2026, and will also play the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 2.

The Eagles’ 2026 touring lineup features founding member Don Henley, longtime guitarist and vocalist Joe Walsh, and bassist/vocalist Timothy B. Schmit, joined by acclaimed musicians Vince Gill and Deacon Frey — son of the late Glenn Frey, who co-founded the band in 1971.

In January 2026, the band made history when Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) became the first album ever to earn Quadruple Diamond certification from the RIAA, denoting more than 40 million units sold in the U.S., solidifying its status as the best-selling album of all time in the country.

The Long Goodbye tour first launched in September 2023 and has since become a sprawling farewell for one of classic rock’s most significant acts. While the term “farewell” has been playfully extended — with multiple legs and added dates — this Act III stadium run allows fans outside Las Vegas to experience the band live in large outdoor venues.

For Nashville fans — and classic rock lovers nationwide — the May 9 concert at FirstBank Stadium represents a rare opportunity to catch a legendary band in their twilight touring years, paying tribute to a catalogue that has influenced generations.
