Chicago-based duo Twenty One Pilots will honor The White Stripes at the upcoming Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony by performing a rendition of the Stripes’ signature 2003 hit “Seven Nation Army”.
The White Stripes—fronted by Jack and Meg White—are among the Class of 2025 inductees, alongside acts like Soundgarden, OutKast, Cyndi Lauper, Bad Company, Chubby Checker and Joe Cocker.
On their social channels the duo said: “Josh and I are working on ‘Seven Nation Army’ now, and hope to give it every bit of justice it deserves… Nov 8.”
In addition to Twenty One Pilots, the ceremony will feature presenters such as Elton John, Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, Missy Elliott and many others.
The event will stream live on Disney+ starting at 8 p.m. ET and will later be available on Hulu.
Twenty One Pilots’ invitation to perform is fitting—not just because both bands feature two-members at their core, but because each channel unconventional intensity across genre walls. For the Stripes, this is the apex of recognition after their raw garage-rock era. For Twenty One Pilots, it’s a chance to salute a band whose minimalist structure unlocked maximal impact.
As the White Stripes’ legacy enters the Hall of Fame, the moment will be complete with a live performance that connects decades, duos and guitar-drum fusions in one seamless handshake across rock history.
