Watch Kiss Just Play Their Most Surprising Show in Years — Here’s What Happened

On November 16, 2025, Kiss stunned fans in Las Vegas — not with pyrotechnics or painted faces, but in a raw, unmasked electric set that carried real emotional weight. It was their first full electric show in nearly two years, and the band made every moment count.

That night, there were no bombs, no sky-high stunts — just the music, the stage, and a tight 16-song performance that leaned deep into what made Kiss legendary. As Paul Stanley quipped at one point:

“No makeup, no bombs, we’re [still] pretty fucking good, right?”

Earlier in the day, while hosting a cooking class (yes, really), Stanley was asked if they’d play “deep cuts” during the show. He joked that focusing on the classics would please most fans. But by the evening, the group delivered surprises — reviving rarely played tracks like “Take Me,” “Got to Choose,” and “Love Her All I Can.”

During “Cold Gin,” lead guitarist Tommy Thayer paid tribute to former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley by playing the solo from the Alive! version of “She” — then pointed to the sky in a heartfelt salute.

To close out the night, Bruce Kulick — another former Kiss guitarist — joined the band for the final two songs. On “Lick It Up,” they even dropped into the classic “Won’t Get Fooled Again” instrumental break.

This show marked a significant moment: their first full electric performance since finishing the End of the Road farewell tour in December 2023 at Madison Square Garden.

The night before (Nov 14), they’d done an unplugged set that began with a candlelit moment of silence to honor Ace Frehley, following his death in October.
