Kid Rock is taking a stand against what he views as a deepening crisis in the music industry: the flawed ticketing system. The outspoken rocker recently met with Pam Bondi, Donald Trump’s nominee for Attorney General, to address these issues and explore potential reforms.
In recent years, Ticketmaster has come under fire for its near-monopoly on ticket sales and controversial practices such as dynamic pricing, which have impacted major tours for artists like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and Oasis. Fans often find themselves priced out or left empty-handed, fueling widespread frustration.
Determined to tackle these problems, Kid Rock took to Instagram to share his commitment to fixing the system alongside the Trump administration.
“What a pleasure to sit down with our soon-to-be Attorney General Pam Bondi,” he wrote. “I’m looking forward to working with her and the entire administration to address the fiasco of buying concert tickets.”
Never one to hold back, Kid Rock vowed to confront the various players he believes contribute to the problem, from bots and scalpers to ticketing companies and even artists.
“I’m gonna open a can of whoop ass on the bots, scalpers, venues, ticketing companies, managers, and artists alike who rip off and deceive the public,”
he declared, calling out practices that he believes have only worsened over time.
The post concluded with a fiery challenge to those in power:
“If you’re in charge and want to help fix this, get to the table. Otherwise, Fuck Around and Find Out. Kid Rock #MAGA.”
With his characteristic bluntness, Kid Rock has positioned himself as a vocal advocate for fans and musicians, taking aim at an entrenched ticketing system that he believes urgently needs reform.
