Megadeth have officially unveiled the Canadian leg of their massive 2026 farewell world tour, marking one of the band’s most extensive runs through the country in years. The upcoming trek will see the thrash-metal pioneers joined by Anthrax and Exodus for a coast-to-coast series of dates beginning on February 15, 2026, in Victoria, British Columbia, and concluding on March 6, 2026, in Québec City. Spanning twelve cities over three weeks, the tour brings Megadeth to fans from British Columbia all the way to the Maritimes, delivering what is expected to be a definitive celebration of their four-decade legacy.
This tour arrives just weeks after the release of Megadeth’s final studio album, a self-titled record due out on January 23, 2026. The album has already generated major buzz, thanks to the early singles “Tipping Point” and “I Don’t Care,” as well as a surprising covers lineup that includes a rendition of Metallica’s “Ride the Lightning” — a bold nod to Dave Mustaine’s early history with his former band. In announcing the tour, Mustaine kept his message brief but powerful: “Canada 2026. It’s time.” Longtime fans are preparing for a setlist that blends classic thrash staples with new material from their final chapter.
The Canadian itinerary includes Victoria, Abbotsford, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, London, Ottawa, Halifax, Moncton, and Québec City. Each show will feature Anthrax and Exodus, making the run one of the heaviest thrash packages assembled in years. Between the farewell context, the new album buzz, and the iconic supporting acts, many fans are treating this as a once-in-a-lifetime Megadeth experience.
Ticket presales begin November 26, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time, with general ticket sales opening on November 28 at the same time. VIP upgrades and fan-club exclusives — including meet-and-greets and side-stage experiences — will also be available. The Canadian run is part of a much larger global farewell tour expected to travel across South America, Europe, and additional regions throughout 2026 and beyond, as Megadeth close the book on more than forty years of thrash-metal dominance.
