Evanescence have premiered the official music video for “Who Will You Follow,” the latest single from their upcoming album Sanctuary. The new visual continues the rollout for the record, which is set to arrive on June 5, 2026, via BMG.
The song itself was first released on April 10, 2026, and BMG says it serves as a preview of Sanctuary, which will be available as a digital album, standard CD, deluxe CD, and limited-edition box set. BMG also notes that the album includes the previously released single “Afterlife,” which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart and the Mediabase Active Rock Radio chart in the U.S. and Canada.
The new video is directed by Jensen Noen, whose résumé includes work with Falling in Reverse and In This Moment. That gives the clip the kind of dramatic, polished visual style Evanescence fans tend to expect from the band at this point in their career.
BMG says the track was produced by Jordan Fish and Zakk Cervini, and Amy Lee described the album as a deeply personal project that has been more than three years in the making. In her statement, Lee said she is “so damn proud” of every part of it and that working on the album became an outlet for feelings “that feels wrong and out of control,” as well as a place to “ignite hope through the power of music and connection.”
The release also comes as Evanescence prepare for a major 2026 world tour beginning on June 11, with North American dates followed by UK and European shows. BMG says Spiritbox and Nova Twins will open the North American leg, Poppy will support the UK and Europe shows, and K.Flay will appear on the UK dates. The band is also participating in a PLUS1 campaign that will donate $1/£1/€1 from every ticket sold to humanitarian aid and medical relief organizations.
With “Who Will You Follow” now paired with a full video, Evanescence are making it clear that Sanctuary is not just another album cycle. It is being built as a full visual and emotional statement, and the band is pushing it out with real momentum behind it.
