SABATON Extend Their Massive ‘Legendary Tour’ With New 2027 Dates

SABATON are keeping their biggest live campaign rolling into 2027. On June 5, 2026, the Swedish metal band announced the second leg of “The Legendary Tour,” following the success of its huge 2025 arena run, which featured a stage castle, a mechanical drawbridge and major stops at venues such as London’s O2 Arena and Manchester Co-op Live. The band said they could not simply stop after chapter one and confirmed that “The Legendary Tour – Part 2” will return to Europe in spring 2027.

The new run will once again include The Legendary Orchestra and special guests Noa Gruman, Tina Guo, and Mia Asano, with SABATON promising “new surprises and twists.” The band also described the show as a full theatrical experience, with “tons of explosives, epic storytelling and very loud heavy metal.” Tickets go on sale Wednesday, June 10 at 9 a.m.

Here are the confirmed spring 2027 European dates: Dublin on April 7, Glasgow on April 9, Birmingham on April 10, Nantes on April 12, Toulouse on April 13, Lisbon on April 15, Milan on April 19, Geneva on April 20, Nuremberg on April 22, Düsseldorf on April 23, Rotterdam on April 24, Mannheim on April 26, Leipzig on April 27, Hamburg on April 28, Graz on April 30, Budapest on May 1, Prague on May 2, Bratislava on May 4, Łódź on May 5, Tallinn on May 7, and Helsinki on May 8.

The announcement follows a busy stretch for the band. SABATON’s 2025 European leg drew more than 260,000 fans in 13 countries, and the production reportedly used 420 tons of equipment. That tour was tied to Legends, the band’s eleventh studio album, released on October 17, 2025, and built around historical figures like Joan of Arc, Napoleon Bonaparte, Julius Caesar, and Miyamoto Musashi.

SABATON’s North American dates were postponed earlier so bassist Pär Sundström could recover from inflammation in his arms, with the rescheduled leg now set to launch on September 23 in Halifax and wrap on December 12 in Fort Lauderdale. Guitarist Thobbe Englund, who rejoined the band in February 2024, remains part of the current lineup as the group keeps building momentum toward its next massive run.
