Rush continued their triumphant “Fifty Something Tour” with a fresh and exciting second night at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
True to Geddy Lee’s promise to switch things up between shows, the band delivered significant setlist changes and delivered one of the biggest highlights of the residency so far — a complete performance of their prog masterpiece “2112” in its entirety for the first time in almost 30 years.
The band opened with the same powerful one-two punch as night one (“Xanadu” into “The Spirit of Radio”), but quickly treated fans to several tour debuts, including “The Analog Kid” (first time on this tour), “Leave That Thing Alone”, “Headlong Flight”, and the Hemispheres classic “The Trees” — performed live for the first time since 2008.
The biggest moment of the night came in Set 2 when Rush unleashed all seven parts of “2112”, including rarely played sections like “Part III: Discovery,” “Part V: Oracle: The Dream,” and “Part VI: Soliloquy.” The last time they performed the full suite was during the 1997 Test for Echo Tour.
