Alice Cooper and Judas Priest Launch Co-Headlining Tour With Deep Cuts and Heavy Classics

Alice Cooper and Judas Priest officially kicked off their long-awaited co-headlining tour on Sept. 16 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi, with support from Corrosion of Conformity. The opening night delivered surprises, rare tracks, and heavy-hitting anthems from two of rock and metal’s most enduring acts.

Alice Cooper wasted no time digging deep into his catalog, treating fans to songs rarely — or never — performed live. After his trademark “Hello, Hooray” intro, Cooper unearthed “Who Do You Think We Are” (last played in 2004) and “Spark in the Dark” (not heard since 1990). The shock-rock legend also revived “Clones (We’re All)” for the first time since 2011 and “Caught in a Dream” from 2015. Fans were especially stunned when Cooper debuted “Dangerous Tonight” from Hey Stoopid and performed a partial live debut of “Going Home” from Alice Cooper Goes to Hell. The rest of the set balanced fan favorites like “Poison,” “Feed My Frankenstein,” and “School’s Out” with theatrical staples such as “Ballad of Dwight Fry” and “Only Women Bleed.”

Judas Priest followed with a crushing 14-song set that leaned heavily on their 1990 classic Painkiller. Six songs from the album made the cut, including “Between the Hammer and the Anvil,” “A Touch of Evil,” “Night Crawler,” and the ferocious title track. They also spotlighted two tracks from 2024’s Invincible Shield — “Gates of Hell” and “Giants in the Sky” — alongside immortal hits “Breaking the Law,” “Hell Bent for Leather,” “Living After Midnight,” and “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’.” A welcome surprise came with “Solar Angels,” a deep cut from Point of Entry resurrected this year after two decades off the stage.

Both acts have remained creatively active. Alice Cooper recently reunited with the original Alice Cooper Group for The Revenge of Alice Cooper (2025), their first album together since 1973’s Muscle of Love. His 2023 solo album Road further showcased his longevity. Meanwhile, Judas Priest continue touring in support of Invincible Shield and recently recorded a special version of “War Pigs” featuring Ozzy Osbourne trading lines with Rob Halford — a collaboration Halford described as “eternally grateful and blessed” to be part of.

Opening night made it clear: Alice Cooper and Judas Priest are still finding new ways to thrill audiences decades into their careers.
