Eagles have expanded their Long Goodbye Farewell Tour by including two concerts at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum scheduled for early January.
The two concerts will occur on January 5 and 6, which marks the 10th anniversary of the band’s six shows in January 2014. Those earlier concerts were important because they helped reestablish the Forum after it underwent significant restorations.
Steely Dan, the tour’s first performer will maintain their support for the two Los Angeles shows. Tickets will become available to the general public on October 13. The complete list of tour dates for the Eagles’ Long Goodbye tour is mentioned below for your information.
What to Expect on Eagles’ ‘Long Goodbye’ Tour
Last month, the Eagles launched their farewell tour at Madison Square Garden in New York. They started the performance with the powerful display of vocal harmony of “Seven Bridges Road” and presented a 23-song setlist filled with hits like “Take It to the Limit,” “Best of My Love,” “Tequila Sunrise,” “New Kid in Town,” “Already Gone,” “Life in the Fast Lane,” and “Hotel California.”
The group furthermore showcased individual songs by various band members, such as Joe Walsh performing “Life’s Been Good” and Don Henley performing “The Boys of Summer.” The Eagles additionally paid tribute to the late Jimmy Buffett by performing two covers, “Come Monday” and “Fins.”
The present Eagles cast includes the firm members Henley, Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit, as well as Vince Gill and Deacon Frey. Vince Gill and Deacon Frey became part of the touring group in 2017 after the death of Deacon’s father, Glenn Frey.
The forthcoming Los Angeles gigs are currently the last ones formally scheduled for the Long Goodbye tour, but that might change soon. According to a press meet, the band will keep playing more shows in each place as long as the fans want them to, and it’s predicted that the tour will go on until 2025.
