George Lynch Announces “A Night of Dokken” Tour Celebrating Classic Hits

George Lynch is bringing fans back to the golden era of Dokken with a newly announced tour titled “A Night of Dokken.” The shows are designed as a full celebration of the band’s classic material, focusing heavily on the songs that defined their rise in the 1980s.

The tour centers on Lynch performing a set built almost entirely from Dokken’s iconic catalog, revisiting fan-favorite tracks like “Tooth and Nail,” “Into the Fire,” “Alone Again,” and “In My Dreams.” These performances lean into the era when Lynch’s guitar work helped establish Dokken as one of the biggest hard rock acts of the decade.

Unlike a traditional reunion, the shows feature Lynch leading his own band, delivering a Dokken-focused setlist that recreates the energy and sound of the group’s peak years. In some performances, guest appearances or collaborations tied to the Dokken legacy are also part of the experience, adding to the nostalgia-driven format.

The tour follows a pattern Lynch has been developing in recent years — blending his work with Lynch Mob and solo projects while closing shows with extended Dokken material, something that has proven popular with longtime fans.

Several dates tied to this concept have already surfaced, including performances connected to Dokken-related appearances in Las Vegas (February 20, 2026) and additional U.S. stops throughout the year.

The announcement taps into ongoing demand for classic-era Dokken material, especially given the complicated history between Lynch and vocalist Don Dokken. While full reunions have been rare and often short-lived, “A Night of Dokken” allows Lynch to revisit that legacy on his own terms.

For fans, the appeal is straightforward: this isn’t just another tour — it’s a focused return to one of hard rock’s most recognizable catalogs, driven by the guitarist who helped define it.
