Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty has announced a major expansion of his ongoing Legacy Tour with a special co‑headlining fall run featuring legendary singer‑instrumentalist Steve Winwood. The 2026 tour promises a night of classic rock history across iconic amphitheaters and outdoor venues throughout the U.S.

The fall leg of the tour will spotlight Fogerty’s celebrated catalog — including Creedence Clearwater Revival hits and solo classics — alongside Winwood’s beloved repertoire. Tickets for these dates go on sale in March, with presales beginning earlier in the week.

What the Legacy Tour Is and Why It Matters

Fogerty first launched the Legacy Tour in late 2025 to support his album Legacy: The Creedence Clearwater Revival Years, a re‑recording of his most iconic songs with updated production featuring his sons Shane and Tyler Fogerty. The tour has been celebrated for delivering classic CCR songs like “Proud Mary,” “Bad Moon Rising,” “Fortunate Son,” and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” with renewed energy.

Adding Winwood to the lineup for several amphitheater dates marks one of the most exciting classic rock pairings of 2026 — bringing together songs and sounds that span more than five decades of music history.

What Fans Can Expect on the Legacy Tour

Both Fogerty and Winwood are celebrated for their extensive catalogs of hits — spanning rock roots, swampy Americana, blue‑eyed soul, and more. Fogerty is expected to perform classics such as “Proud Mary,” “Fortunate Son,” “Centerfield,” “Down on the Corner,” “Bad Moon Rising,” and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” while Winwood brings songs like “Higher Love,” “Valerie,” “Roll With It,” and “Back in the High Life Again.”

This makes the tour not only a celebration of Fogerty’s legacy and Creedence Clearwater Revival’s timeless catalog, but also a showcase of Winwood’s influential career — from his early years with Spencer Davis Group and Traffic to his solo success in the 1980s.

Tickets and Presales

Tickets for the fall amphitheater dates went on sale March 13 at 10 a.m. local venue time, with presales beginning earlier in the week on March 10 at 10 a.m. local time. Shows are expected to sell quickly given the legacy and popularity of both artists.

Fans can purchase tickets via Ticketmaster, the official Fogerty tour site, and affiliated venues.

Legacy and Recognition

In addition to touring, Fogerty will be honored with the Johnny Mercer Award by the Songwriters Hall of Fame — the organization’s highest honor — at its annual induction gala on June 11, 2026 in New York City.
