Listen to Ozzy Osbourne and Judas Priest Unite for Explosive ‘War Pigs’ Duet

It’s not often two titans of heavy metal lock voices on the same track. But in 2025, Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne finally united for a reimagined take on Black Sabbath’s iconic “War Pigs” — a version that feels less like a cover and more like a passing of the torch between legends.

The project was born in a way that could only happen in the rock world. After Sharon Osbourne heard Judas Priest’s take on the Sabbath classic, she asked if Ozzy could be part of it. Rob Halford recalled his reaction with disbelief: “You’re asking me? This is gonna happen.”

The result is spine-tingling. Ozzy and Halford trade verses line for line, their distinct voices weaving into one another like a conversation between generations of metal. For fans, it’s more than just a performance — it’s history captured in sound.

“You get Ozzy singing a line and then I’m singing a line … it’s just going to a really special place,” Halford explained.

The track arrived only days before Ozzy’s farewell performance at the Back to the Beginning concert on July 5, giving it an even deeper sense of gravity.

Even more powerful is where the profits are going: all proceeds from streams, downloads, and physical copies of the single will benefit The Glenn Tipton Parkinson’s Foundation and Cure Parkinson’s, honoring the longtime Judas Priest guitarist who has battled Parkinson’s since 2018.

For both Judas Priest and Ozzy, “War Pigs” has always been more than just a song. In 2025, it became a moment — a rare union of two voices that helped define heavy metal, giving back to the community that made them icons.
