Miami Dolphins’ Aaron Brewer Climbs Into ESPN’s Top Interior Offensive Line Rankings

Aaron Brewer Earns Top-10 NFL Interior Lineman Ranking After Dolphins Extension

Miami Dolphins center Aaron Brewer continues to gain recognition as one of the NFL’s premier offensive linemen following another impressive season in South Florida.

Brewer was ranked as the league’s 10th-best interior offensive lineman in ESPN’s annual position rankings, which are determined through voting by NFL executives, coaches, and scouts. The ranking further highlights the rapid rise of a player who entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent.

The Dolphins recently reaffirmed their commitment to Brewer by signing him to a three-year, $52.5 million contract extension. The deal came after the veteran center earned second-team All-Pro honors and established himself as a key piece of Miami’s offensive line.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, league evaluators remain highly impressed by Brewer’s development. One NFC scout noted that Brewer measured at 6-foot-1 and 274 pounds coming out of Texas State in 2020, dimensions that contributed to him going undrafted.

Despite those concerns, Brewer has exceeded expectations and become one of the NFL’s most reliable centers.

“Most underrated player in the league,” an NFC executive told ESPN.

Although Brewer finished 10th overall among interior offensive linemen, he was ranked third among NFL centers, trailing only the Baltimore Ravens’ Tyler Linderbaum and the Kansas City Chiefs’ Creed Humphrey. Both players entered the league as highly regarded draft selections, making Brewer’s journey even more remarkable.

Brewer’s ascent from overlooked prospect to one of football’s top centers has become one of the NFL’s notable development stories. As the Dolphins continue building around their core players, Brewer’s performance will remain crucial to the team’s long-term success.

If he maintains the level of play he has displayed over the past two seasons, the label of the NFL’s “most underrated player” may soon no longer apply.
