Country music legend Alan Jackson is preparing to take the stage for his final live performance, and Nashville is rolling out the red carpet to celebrate. The sold-out farewell show, titled “Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale,” takes place on Saturday, June 27, at Nissan Stadium.
Though tickets to the massive stadium event are gone, fans still have multiple ways to witness country music history.
Keepin’ It Country on Broadway
To accommodate the overwhelming demand, a portion of Lower Broadway will be shut down for a free, public watch party dubbed “Keepin’ It Country on Broadway.” A large screen and stage will be erected just steps away from Jackson’s own four-story venue, AJ’s Good Time Bar, giving fans a front-row feel in the heart of downtown.
Gates for the Broadway event open at 4:00 p.m. CT. Before the stadium livestream begins shortly after 6:00 p.m., the crowd will be treated to live music starting at 5:00 p.m. by James Carothers and Cory Farley—both of whom are regular performers at AJ’s Good Time Bar and have previously opened for Jackson on tour.
A Star-Studded Lineup
Jackson won’t be alone for his farewell. The event features an incredible roster of country music’s biggest names joining him to celebrate his legacy. Expected guest performers include George Strait, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, and Keith Urban, among others. Jackson’s nephews, Adam Wright and Big City Brian Wright, will also make appearances.
Additional Viewing Options
For fans looking for an indoor viewing experience, Belmont University’s Fisher Center for the Performing Arts is hosting a ticketed livestream of the event. All proceeds from the Fisher Center stream will go toward launching the Alan Jackson Legacy endowed scholarship to support future musicians. The Country Music Hall of Fame’s CMA Theater is also hosting a live feed, though tickets for that venue have already sold out.
Fans nationwide who can’t make it to Nashville will eventually get to share in the magic. NBC has confirmed that a film crew will be on-site to record the entire stadium show. The footage will be packaged into a primetime special titled “Alan Jackson: The Last Show,” set to air later this year and stream on Peacock the following day.
