When it comes to constructing a musical dream team, Noel Gallagher has an idea that is similar to the Avengers of rock ‘n’ roll.

The former Oasis guitarist, who now leads Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, has considered forming a supergroup. More excitingly, he revealed who he’d like to jam with if given the chance.

In an honest interview with The Mirror, Noel Gallagher reflected:

“Would I join a supergroup?” A heartbeat. But start one from scratch? That’s a tougher decision. What about my dream lineup? Sharing the stage with [Paul] Weller or Johnny [Marr] would be electrifying. “Adding Ringo and Macca on bass would create an auditory fireworks display.”

With evident delight, he went on, “Imagine rocking out with legends like Ringo and Macca.” The microphone? It would be everybody’s playground. Heck, I would pay to be in that mix. Someone dial Harvey Goldsmith for me!”

Gallagher’s love of the Beatles has undoubtedly shaped his musical career.

He is more than just a fan; he has already cooperated with renowned band members. In 1995, he reworked “Come Together” for the HELP album, alongside Paul McCartney and Paul Weller, to promote the War Child cause.

He even serenaded guests at Stella McCartney’s 50th birthday party.

Furthermore, Johnny Marr, the renowned Smiths guitarist, and Noel Gallagher have a rich tapestry of collaborations.

While Marr worked on Gallagher’s Council Skies album, he also contributed to Oasis‘ Heathen Chemistry.

The duo collaborated on Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds tracks “Ballad of the Mighty I” and “If Love Is the Law“. The rock world awaits the next symphony.
