Paul McCartney has confirmed that his upcoming album will feature a brand-new duet with Ringo Starr — a rare collaboration between the two surviving members of The Beatles.
The song, titled “Home to Us,” will appear on McCartney’s upcoming album The Boys of Dungeon Lane, which is set for release on May 29, 2026.
McCartney revealed the collaboration during a private listening session where he walked through the album track by track alongside producer Andrew Watt. While discussing “Home to Us,” he explained that Starr’s involvement came together late in the recording process.
According to McCartney, the idea began casually after he mentioned working with Watt. Starr later visited the studio and initially contributed a drum part, believing that would be enough for the track to be completed. However, McCartney had something bigger in mind for the song.
He ultimately confirmed that the track evolved into a full duet, with both musicians sharing vocals — something that had never truly happened between them before in this way. McCartney emphasized how special that moment felt, noting that it marked a unique first in their decades-long history together.
The track itself is expected to carry a nostalgic tone, reflecting McCartney’s broader vision for the album, which draws heavily on his childhood memories growing up in Liverpool.
“Home to Us” adds to a long but relatively rare list of post-Beatles collaborations between McCartney and Starr. While they have worked together on various projects over the years, full vocal duets between the two have remained uncommon — making this new track especially significant for fans.
With The Boys of Dungeon Lane arriving in May 2026, the duet stands out as one of the album’s most anticipated moments — a reunion decades in the making, bringing two iconic voices back together in a fresh and meaningful way.
