After months of speculation, it appears that Radiohead could finally be gearing up for a return. The band’s management recently donated a set of concert tickets to a charity auction, and the wording of the listing strongly suggests that a tour is in the works.
Blueyed Pictures, the group’s management team, offered “four tickets to a Radiohead show of your choice” as part of a Los Angeles fire relief auction hosted by Palisades High School. The auction ended on March 17, with the tickets selling for $4,000.
According to Resident Advisor, the listing stated that the winner could use the tickets “based on the band’s tour schedule.” This strongly hints that a new run of live shows is being planned, though no official announcement has been made. A separate unnamed source also told Resident Advisor that Radiohead had discussed performing multiple-night residencies in several European cities later this year.
Adding more weight to the speculation, the auction terms state that the tickets will be valid until January 1, 2026—suggesting that a tour will take place in 2025 at the very latest. If true, it would mark the band’s first live performances since 2018.
Further fueling the rumors, the band recently established a new business entity called RHEUK2025 LLP, listing all five members—Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien, Philip Selway, and Thom Yorke—as designated members.
While the purpose of the company is unclear, history suggests it could be tied to a new project. In the past, Radiohead have formed similar business entities ahead of major releases and tours, including before A Moon Shaped Pool (Dawn Chorus LLP), In Rainbows (Xurbia Xendless Ltd), and The King of Limbs (Ticker Tape LTD).
Despite these promising signs, frontman Thom Yorke has previously played down the idea of a Radiohead reunion. When asked about the possibility of new music in October, he told Double J, “I am not aware of it and don’t really give a flying fuck.” He added, “No offence to anyone and thanks for caring. But I think we’ve earned the right to do what makes sense to us without having to explain ourselves.”
However, bassist Colin Greenwood struck a more hopeful tone last September, revealing at the Hay Festival Querétaro that the band had recently spent time playing together. “We did some rehearsals about two months ago in London, just to play the old songs. And it was really fun, had a really good time,” he said.
While nothing is confirmed just yet, all signs seem to be pointing in the same direction—Radiohead might just be getting ready to take the stage once again.
