Ringo Starr is gearing up for the release of his upcoming album, Look Up, slated for early next year.
This country record features 11 original tracks, with many co-written by the album’s producer, T Bone Burnett.
The former Beatle contributed to one of the songs, showcasing his talents as both a drummer and vocalist.
The album also boasts collaborations with notable artists such as Alison Krauss, Billy Strings, Larkin Poe, Lucius, and Molly Tuttle.
In a press release announcing the album, Starr expressed his long-standing passion for country music, stating, “I’ve always loved country music.
When I asked T Bone to write me a song, I didn’t even think at the time that it would be a country song—but of course it was, and it was so beautiful.”
