Michael Anthony and Wolfgang Van Halen had a happy reunion on December 8, at a Mammoth WVH event in Las Vegas.

Wolfgang gladly posted the backstage experience with the original Van Halen bassist on Facebook, which drew the attention and praise of fans and fellow musicians, including Sammy Hagar. Michael Anthony, in turn, took to Instagram to share a concert video and a photo with the amazing vocalist.

In an Instagram post, Anthony shared his excitement for the Mammoth WVH performance:

“I went to watch Mammoth WVH last night in Vegas, and they threw it down! Love you, Wolf, and it’s nice to see you! (So proud of you, brother!)”

Fans responded positively, and Sammy Hagar even joined in the celebration, sending a message expressing his excitement:

“It’s fantastic to see you and Wolf together. “Can’t wait to see you tomorrow, brother.”

Meanwhile, Sammy Hagar has great plans for a summer tour in 2024 with Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham, and Joe Satriani. The tour, named ‘The Best Of All Worlds Tour,‘ was announced on November 14, with Hagar stating that they would perform Van Halen songs throughout the 28-date North American leg. During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Hagar extended a public invitation to his old bandmates.

“We will welcome every musician in every town. If we have any additional guitar players, we will invite them to participate. If Alex Van Halen or David Lee Roth want to leap up and join us, come on, motherf*cker. You’re welcome! “This is about Van Halen.”

This tour promises to be both nostalgic and collaborative, with diverse musicians joining the ensemble to create a one-of-a-kind and unforgettable experience for Van Halen fans.
