Sharon Osbourne Heartbroken as Beloved Dog Elvis Dies at 14: “He Was by My Side Until the End”

Sharon Osbourne this week revealed that she has lost Elvis, her Siberian husky and four-legged companion of 14 years. In a heartfelt Instagram post, the former talk-show host and rock-family matriarch wrote: “I can’t believe I am posting this but my darling Elvis passed away this week. He gave me 14 precious years. He was by my side until the end. Rest in peace my darling boy!”

The tribute included photos of Elvis curled up beside Ozzy on the couch, offering a glimpse of the gentle moments shared between dog and rock-legend. Elvis had been a constant presence in the Osbourne home — from his cameo appearances alongside Sharon’s own media ventures to his quiet support during moments of family change and grief.

This latest loss comes only three months after Ozzy’s death on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76. While the world mourned the “Prince of Darkness,” Sharon and their children navigated a new kind of silence in their lives. Now Elvis’s passing adds another layer to this chapter of sorrow. Kelly Osbourne, daughter of the couple, took to social media to honour the dog’s memory and the comfort he provided after Ozzy’s death: “Elvis did not leave my side since my dad passed. He helped get me through the darkest moment of my life.”

Sharon’s bond with Elvis offers a tender counterpoint to the larger-than-life world she inhabited. The dog’s loyalty and presence highlighted a simpler, gentler rhythm behind the public persona. For Gilbert moments after the rock legends and the cameras fade away, Elvis was there — a steadfast friend through the highs of stadium tours and the lows of personal grief.

As the Osbourne family continues to rebuild after the loss of its patriarch, they face yet another goodbye — this time with a companion who never asked for the spotlight, only love and presence in return. Sharon’s loss resonates with fans across the globe who understand the depth of losing someone who was more than just a pet, but a silent anchor in turbulent times. His memory, now entwined with the legacy of a rock icon, reminds us all of the quiet, enduring power of companionship.
