Legendary guitarist Slash has officially confirmed that Guns N’ Roses will embark on a U.S. tour in 2026, following a year of globe-trotting shows and heavy anticipation. According to a recent interview on Sirius XM’s Trunk Nation, Slash told host Eddie Trunk, “I can say, we’re definitely doing a US run next year,” adding, “So we’ve been doing a bunch of international stuff all year so we have to come back to the States, so we planned for next year.”

This year has seen the band criss-crossing continents, performing in Asia, Europe and South America, with their 2025 run set to end in Mexico City on November 7th.  Despite the busy schedule, the U.S. hasn’t yet seen the band return domestically—and Slash’s comment all but confirms that will change in 2026.

Beyond the tour itself, Slash also addressed speculation about the band performing a residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, revealing he’s “real trepidatious” about doing so. He feels that the venue’s focus on visual spectacle may undercut the raw rock-n-roll essence the band strives for.

In the same conversation, Slash touched on the band’s long-rumoured follow-up to their 2008 studio album. He told Guitar World: “There’s so much material at this point — it’s a matter of having the discipline to sit down and … get into it.” However, he noted that with Guns N’ Roses, planning ahead is tricky. “Every time we’ve done that, it falls apart.”

Fans now have cause for excitement: 2026 will bring a stateside tour from one of rock’s most enduring acts. The details—venues, dates and support acts—are still under wraps, but with Slash’s confirmation, the countdown is officially on.
