Tina Turner’s Upcoming Album: ‘Queen of Rock ‘N’ Roll’

Tina Turner

Rhino Records will launch,  “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll,” a collection of all Tina Turner’s singles from 1975-2023, on Nov. 24. Furthermore, the boxset celebrates the 50th  anniversary of the start of the singer’s career. Additionally, this release will mark the first-ever compilation of all her singles from 1975 to 2023.

Moreover, the release is revealed with a new version of Turner’s 1996 track, “Something Beautiful Remains.” After that, the new revised edition is now titled “Something Beautiful.” Besides this, Terry Britten, a long-time collaborator of Turner has adapted this version. In a statement, Britten expressed, “Tina, working with you was an experience that can never be repeated, but in my heart, there remains something beautiful.”

“Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll” will be released in 3-CD and 5-LP sets, as well as in digital format, along with a reduced 12-track vinyl version. However, you can preorder the collection now.

Each set comes with a foreword from Bryan Adams, Turner’s longtime friend and collaborator.“From anonymity to the stages of the UK and Europe, therefore I admire Tina for transforming the direction of my life and I’m so thankful to have had some of her valuable time,” Adams writes. “She was a powerhouse because no one had her energy or her voice, and I suppose it’s appropriate to mention, that it’s only love, and that’s all.”

Lastly, Turner, who passed away in May, released her debut solo LP, Tina Turns the Country On!, in 1974 after many years of performing as part of Ike & Tina Turner.

In addition, she launched multiple hit singles over her career, including “What’s Love Got to Do with It” and “The Best” throughout her career.

Similarly, the Queen of Rock ‘N’ Roll collection includes all of Turner’s post-Ike. Additionally, Tina Turner’s Revue hits on the Hot 100, totaling 17 songs from 1984 through 1996. Additionally, it features non-Hot 100 hits that charted on other key Billboard charts, such as “Afterglow,” “Cose Della Vita” (a duet with Eros Ramazzotti), “Goldeneye,” “In Your Wildest Dreams” (featuring Barry White), “Look Me in the Heart,” “On Silent Wings,” “Open Arms,” “Tearing Us Apart” (with Eric Clapton), the 2020 remix of “What’s Love Got To Do With It” (with Kygo), and “When the Heartache Is Over.”

Tina Turner died in May at her home in Switzerland after living with an undisclosed illness when she was 83.
